Scene 1 - coronation street music playing' Danny is at an eastend race track. He looks up at the race results. He goes and sits in the grandstand. 'Fuckit,' he says.' Scene 2 - Danny is walking up to his hovel of an abode, comes in, puts on the old dirty kettle (the place is a shambles), and sits there, smoking his ciggies, at the table. Flatmate Arthur comes in. 'Fuck, Danny. You got any more ciggies?' 'Sorry, bro. all out.' 'Fuck it,' said Arthur, looking around the flat. 'I'm broke, and I need a bloody smoke.' Danny looks at Arthur holding up one of his jars of ciggie ends. 'And all I've got left is the bloody butts.' 'You don't use filters do you.; 'I like the full taste,' says arthur. 'give them to me,' says Danny. He takes a paper, puts a few butts inside one, and rolls a fresh smoke. 'Try this,' says Danny. Arthur lights it, smokes it, and his face lights up in a brilliant smile. 'Brilliant, Danny.' 'Glad to be of help.' Scene 3 'So what will you do now?' artie asks him. 'I don't know. I'm broke. Can't even afford this shithole.' 'Bugger,' says Artie. 'Don't I know it,' says Danny, looking straight ahead.
